Dean BuchananHead Coach and Founder
Having recently retired with 20 years of service in the United States Military, Coach Dean Buchanan is now committing all of his efforts to the fostering and development of amateur and youth bowlers. His unwavering dedication to the non-profit and the values he uphold makes Off Broadway Bowling Academy an outstanding professional environment. Sheila BuchananAssistant Coach and Director
With much competitive experience from a young age, Coach Sheila Buchanan brings crucial lessons and values to the team at Off Broadway Bowling Academy. Her knowledge and experiences with mental and physical training are available to cliental, and for more information on her background and qualifications view our training page.
Amateur Staff
Brooklyn Buchanan
Joining the Team in 2018, Brooklyn Buchanan has since collected several national accolades including winning the 2021 Teen Masters Championships, and being named apart of the 2022 NTCA All-American First Team . She completed her Bronze Coaching certification in 2019 and is in her final year competing collegiately at Arkansas State University, with plans to begin on the PWBA tour in 2024.
Tommie Mcneal
As a 3 time Junior Team USA member, Tommie Mcneal also joined as an Amateur Staff in 2018. He recently completed a Masters Degree from the University of the Cumberlands where he wrapped up a decorated collegiate career. McNeal was also a long time team member and assistant coach for the Greater Seattle Youth All Stars. He plans on joining the PBA Tour in 2023.
Aidghan Ziegler
With a successful youth career having many appearances at Junior Gold and on the Seattle All Star Team, Aidghan Ziegler has since stepped into the proshop side of the industry. He assists Coach Dean Buchanan in pro shop operations at the fully operating pro shop at Off Broadway Bowling Academy.
Victorya White
This two handed youth female from Oak Harbor, Washington is currently the youngest member of Team OBBA. Now having had her national debut, White is looking to expand her horizons to competing collegiately and eventually professionally. She has relocated from Washington and is now Missouri resident where she continues her academic and bowling pursuits.
Matthew Lennox
After a respectable youth bowling career in Washington State, and being named the 2022 WYBT Boys Bowler of the Year, Lennox has began his collegiate bowling career. He has relocated to William Woods University in Missouri to begin his freshman year as team captain. Lennox looks to become a highly competitive college player and then continue on to the PBA tour.
Valentina Cruz
Valentina Cruz is originally from Cali, Colombia, and was a part of Junior Team Colombia for three years. She competed collegiately at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore on their ITC national Championship Team, while also spending some time competing collegiately at Lindenwood University. In the coming years she looks to make her way back onto Team Colombia and she has become very successful on the regional Women’s Tour.
Chloe Barlett
Chloe received her psychology degree from Midland University while competing on the Women’s Bowling Team. She has placed in the top 100 of the Diamond Division for the USBC Women’s Championships for the last four years. As a youth coach and competitor herself, Chloe is eager to expand and share her knowledge.
